I didn’t wait long at all. The hold time was short, and someone helped me quick. I was expecting it to take way longer, so yeah, it was way better than I thought it would be.

"Refund came through fast"
I had to cancel something I bought through goodsam.com, and honestly... I was kind of expecting it to turn into a whole thing.

I sent in the request, and yeah, they got back to me quicker than I thought they would. The refund showed up on my card a few days later, with no annoying back and forth or weird excuses.
So overall, it was simple. I really appreciate when a company just handles something like that without making it a bigger deal than it needs to be.

"Coverage details felt confusing"
I just signed up recently after browsing goodsam.com, the coverage info left me a little unsure. Since it’s fresh in my mind, the main thing I remember is having to slow down and double-check what was actually included.

Some parts of the site made certain coverage sound straightforward, but then the fine print or what I heard from a phone rep made it seem a bit different. I ended up asking the same questions more than once because I didn’t feel totally confident in the answers.

Maybe someone who already knows RV plans would have an easier time with it, but as a newer customer, it felt more confusing than it needed to be. It wasn’t a terrible experience, just not as clear as I expected.

"My truck picked the worst time to quit, but the tow came through"
Of course my truck decided to die on the side of the road like it had better things to do. I used Good Sam to get a tow and figured I’d be sitting there forever, but the driver showed up close to the time they gave me. The whole thing was easy, no weird surprises or hassle. Glad I had it when my truck decided to be the problem

I was expecting canceling to be a hassle, since I’ve had some annoying experiences with other companies before. But this was quick and painless. Someone helped me right away, took care of it without any back-and-forth, and I was done in no time

"The Good Sam website works pretty..."
The Good Sam website works well for finding the info I needed, but umm, the app was a little frustrating. It felt slow at times, and the menus weren’t super clear. I did get everything done in the end, but it took more clicking around than I expected.

"Got here faster than I expected"
I just assumed it was going to take a while, so I stopped checking the clock and figured it’d show up whenever. Ended up being about 25 minutes, which my brain immediately categorized as quick. No complaints.

"Worth it if you use it"
I’ve had Good Sam for a while now. Mostly use it for campground discounts. Not massive savings every trip. But it does add up if you’re out a few times a year. The site is simple enough too. Easy to get around. The emails can be a little much sometimes. Still, for the price, I feel like it’s been a decent value...

"Really reassuring customer service"
I had to call Good Sam about a billing question, and I’ll be honest, I was kind of expecting it to be stressful. I always feel better when someone takes the time to explain things clearly, and the rep I spoke with was really patient and actually listened to what I was asking.

They got everything sorted out quickly and made sure I understood what had happened before we hung up, which I really appreciated. I’ve had customer service calls where I left more confused than when I started, so this was a nice relief. Definitely 5 stars from me.

"My claim was handled faster than I thought it would be"
We had to file a claim with Good Sam after having a tire issue on our trip, i was kind of expecting it to be a whole hassle. But it was actually simple. The rep, you know, explained what they needed, kept me in the loop, and the payment came through without me having to chase them down over and over. Really appreciated that, because it made an already stressful day a lot less frustrating...

"Found a decent discount at the right time"
I hopped on goodsam.com before renewing, mostly just to see if there was anything out there, and ended up finding a discount quickly. It actually took a noticeable amount off too, not one of those tiny “save 2%” deals that barely matters. The site was simple enough to get through, and checkout went fine with no weird issues. I was expecting to spend more time on it, like when you’re digging through coupon codes and half of them don’t work. Anyway, it was a nice little win, especially since I’d just been looking at camping stuff I probably don’t need but somehow still want

"Got my repair money back after a little nudging"
I had to pay for the repair out of pocket first, then sent all the paperwork over to Good Sam. It didn’t move quite as smoothly as I’d hoped, and it kind of felt like nothing was happening until I followed up. To their credit, they did end up reimbursing me like they said they would. Not perfect, but it worked out in the end.

"Helpful network when I needed it"
Good Sam’s provider network has literally helped me out twice now. Both times, they were able to find someone close enough, and the wait wasn’t too bad. One shop did take a while to call me back, but overall it worked well and I’d definitely use it again.
